Hughes Communications India has launched India's first high-throughput satellite for commercial broadband in the country.

Hughes will provide the high-speed broadband internet connection through India's ISRO GSAT-11 and GSAT-29 satellites.

With this vision of providing high-speed broadband service powered by ISRO, HCI will help in India's digital transformation.

It will help to reach the internet connectivity to remote location and will help in boost of the country digital transformation said by S Somanath, ISRO Chairman, in a Hughes press statement.

It'll help to provide the high-speed internet connection to remote locations and will help to reach the small businesses across the country.

In a press-confress Partho Banerjee, president and managing director, HCI, said it'll help to reach the internet connections to small business, industry working remote locations, individuals and locations where the cellular network is not accessible.

HCI committed to provide the high-speed internet connectivity at the affordable cost and excellent quality service.

Elon Musk's SpaceX offering the same service with starlink. The company wants to expand their business in India but it's unclear whether HCI will provide the same speed as SpaceX offering 90 Mbps.
