Apple Inc. is planning to use the latest TSMC latest chip technology next year reported to the Nikkei Asia newspaper reported on Wednesday.

The A17 mobile processor which is under development will be mass-produced by the N3E chipmaking tech and will be available in the second half of the next year as per the report.

The A17 will be used in the premium iPhone manufacture in the year 2023.

Apple declined to comment on this and as we know TSMC did not respond to the comments.

The current iPhone has an A15 processor chip and as we know in the recent event the company told us the iPhone 14 will have the same chip.

The chipmaker controls about 54% of the global market for producing chips for Apple and Qualcomm Inc.

It's all about Apple's new concept of using TSMC's latest technology chips in the upcoming devices.
